The idea of having a Debutante Presentation at the local level was presented in October, 1958 by Soror Clara A. Jackson during the basileuship of Soror Hazel Tucker Jones. The first Debutante Presentation was held in December, 1958 at the Masonic Temple located on Lynch Street (Jackson, MS).
